1- Search word : Compulsory religion

2- Translation: The verse La Ikraha fi al-Din (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:256) is a part of the verse Al-Kursi that advises Muslims not to force non-Muslims to accept Islam.

And the verse 2:256 from:

The Quranic Arabic Corpus - Translation

Pickthall: There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

And this is about the distorting av Quran and its verses:

Verse 41:40

Pickthall: Lo! those who distort Our revelations are not hid from Us. Is he who is hurled into the Fire better, or he who cometh secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do what ye will. Lo! He is Seer of what ye do.

Yusuf Ali: Those who pervert the Truth in Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Which is better?- he that is cast into the Fire, or he that comes safe through, on the Day of Judgment? Do what ye will: verily He seeth (clearly) all that ye do.

Muhammad Sarwar: Those who deviate from Our revelations are not hidden from Us. Is the one who will be thrown into hell fire better than the one who will be brought safely into the presence of God on the Day of Judgment? Act as you wish; God is Well-Aware of whatever you do.

And Verse 16:25

Shakir: That they may bear their burdens entirely on the day of resurrection and also of the burdens of those whom they lead astray without knowledge; now surely evil is what they bear.

3- Translation:  Religion, compulsory or optional? According to the famous verse "La Ikrah Fi Al-Din (=No compulsory in religion)", why did the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, at the beginning of Islam and in his wars, convert a large number of people to Islam by the force of the sword and by force?

Answer: Verse 31:6

Yusuf Ali: But there are, among men, those who purchase idle tales (=Hadith), without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a Humiliating Penalty.

And Verse 9:80

Yusuf Ali: Whether thou ask for their forgiveness, or not, (their sin is unforgivable): if thou ask seventy times for their forgiveness, Allah will not forgive them: because they have rejected Allah and His Messenger: and Allah guideth not those who are perversely rebellious.

And even though the Prophet had forced people to become Muslims, then they became hypocrites

Verse : 9:101

Arberry: And some of the Bedouins who dwell around you are hypocrites; and some of the people of the City are grown bold in hypocrisy. Thou knowest them not; but We know them, and We shall chastise them twice, then they will be returned to a mighty chastisement.

4- Translation: What is the Qur'an's opinion about the compulsion to be religious? Our discussion was about power in Nahjul Balagha (= The Collected Narrative of Imam Ali ) . The first question that arises is this; What is the relationship between religion and power and in what realm can religion use power...

Verse 46:6

Sahih International: These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe?
